Volunteering with Bazart

The driving force behind our organization are our enthusiastic volunteers. Our volunteering team consists of both novice as well as experienced 'animatoren'. Because of this fantastic group of young people, every Bazart department has its own unique identity. 

In addition, most Bazart-cities dispose of a group of former leaders to support their activities. They provide inspiration, advice, and training, cook during weekends and camps, and help out in many other ways. Thanks to our old heroes, our activities always run smoothly and successfully.

Our volunteers are supported by BAMM. BAMM has developed its own methodology on learning processes which it transmits to its volunteers. This takes place during both individual training days and annual mentor weekends. Additionally, our volunteers and other interested young people can follow (head) animator and instructor courses with us during school holidays. The training sessions and courses also provide an opportunity for mentors from different cities to share and exchange ideas and inspiration with each other.
